CAHC Recommended Accreditation Start Up Process for Health Care Service Firms

First Attend: Introduction to CAHC Accreditation Workshop   Duration: 2 Hours   Cost: $150 per person. Attendees will meet the staff at the Commission, learn about the CAHC application process, get an overview of CAHC’s standards, review the accreditation fee schedule, discuss time-lines to become accredited and ask questions.

Next Purchase: CAHC Accreditation Standards Manual/Workshop Package   Cost: $1,750 per agency. Package includes CAHC Accreditation Standards Manual and up to 25 hours of workshop training. Topics are appropriate for all agency staff involved in accreditation process and on-going compliance.  They include: 

Overview of CAHC Standards        
Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) Basics   
    
Clinical Forms Development Roundtable                 
Personnel Forms Development Roundtable      

The Role of the RN in Accreditation   
    
HR Intensive Review – Standard IV

Details Regarding The Package
– The 2015 CAHC Workshop schedule will be published quarterly . Most workshops will be conducted at the CAHC office in New Providence although the training venue may vary depending on topic and location of participating agencies.
– Workshop
attendance should be completed 6 months from the purchase date of the package.
– Beyond the 25 hours other agency staff members may attend a specific workshop for an additional fee.
– Purchase of the CAHC Accreditation Standards Manual/Workshop Package will not guarantee accreditation by the  Commission on Accreditation for Home Care.
